i understand that you most likely sent this out of excitement bc you're really enjoying the story so far, which i totally get. anyone who chooses to read & support my fics, when there are hundreds if not thousands of other options, is so appreciated.
however, repeatedly sending asks inquiring about updates and posting dates comes across as pushy and overwhelming. today, to be quite frank, it's annoying as i've received multiple of these, AND i already answered the first one that was sent days ago
if, by chance, you are not the same anon(s) that have been sending me similar asks, then my bad. i apologize as this answer is meant more towards them. and i ask that you read my faq (and any other writers faqs) before hitting send on inbox submissions and messages like this 😊 🫶🏼
but if you are the same person/people that are sending these...then seriously? come onnnnn bro. i'm too sunburnt and sleepy for this 💀
i was 5 states away from my desk & laptop, and when i got home wednesday i had 2 hours before i needed to unexpectedly host 7 family members from texas that made an impromptu visit to michigan. they've now left and i've finished unpacking but needless to say i am exhausted and my introverted self doesn't want to talk to another human for a few days lol
as you can tell, i've lost my niceness, it needs time to recharge 🤣 and i plan to write tonight but idk how much progress i'll actually make, that's as best of an update that i can give you
also just so we're all on the same page, my faq states:
i do not have a consistent posting schedule or share which fics are to be posted next as i tend to write several wips / chaptered fics at a time. on rare occasions, i will have an estimated posting date, but those are subject to change. please do not ask me for updates or posting dates.
when i do post, i usually aim for a thursday, friday, or saturday unless it's an assigned day for a collab, etc. if you're worried about missing an update, you can join my taglist or you can follow @shadowkoo-fics and turn on post notifications.
p.s. if you want to share your excitement about an in-progress fic without pressuring/stressing the writer, say something like:
loving the story so far, can’t wait to see where it goes!
