Thanks. My photographic influences are relatively sparse in terms of demonstrative academic proficiencies. I've pieced together a novice's competence in terms of drawing and geometry by trying to absorb Barnstone's insights. I took a semester to deliberately and intensely study the mathematical relationship between, "intentional" forms and, "forms grown or derived from the substrate." I'm especially influenced by Mitchell Feigenbaum and Benoit Mandelbrot.
Many, "image makers" understand, "logistic organization" but I like to think, "every beautiful thing is already organized like that; your job is to seek that out with nothing short of divine madness and turn it into images that are interesting to look at..." I'm privileged that I started out playing musical instruments. Herzog's, "adequate images for the 21st century" will be visual jazz- we need only find our Charlie Parkers, Thelonious Monks; our Charlie Christians (!)
Select curated images will soon be available for select buyers. We have plans too of creating some materials for, "mass consumption" ala Warhol (t-shirts, patches, posters, ect...). I will update my blog as we approach release day in January 2025.
