Loki would die before he would pray to the AllFather. Which was actually about to happen, by the way...
The dying part, not the praying part. He'd never been much of a supplicant and certainly not to the one deity in the god tier pantheon who was most likely to fall asleep in the middle of it. And he'd never done much by way of answering prayers himself either, so it felt somewhat unfair that he should expect one of the other gods to drop what they were doing and listen to him beg for someone to come save his negligent ass.
But that was all a pointless argument, since his time was up.
