What is considered hate?

Hate is any personal attack on another user/follower, no matter the circumstances. It is also bashing the plot, characters, or makers of the show without supporting your claim with genuine reasoning (constructive criticism). Any haters and their hatorade will be blocked immediately or, if on anon, will simply get bitched out by myself or Melissa. This is a place to judge opinions, not people.

Is this a criticism blog?

While there will be some criticism, this blog is open to discussion of both the good AND bad aspects of LoK and ATLA. This is a place where ALL opinions are welcome. You can be completely in love with the show or hate it with a fiery passion. If you have an opinion, you are guaranteed to be heard and not judged.

What do I do if I disagree with someone else?

Since personal attacks and blind hate get you blocked, the best thing to do is keep scrolling and look for something that you agree with. If you feel the need to explain your position, do so in a way that is rational and shows that you still respect what the other person has to say. Above all, try to keep an open mind at all times, and in every post you read, look for something, anything, that you either agree with or think is well-written/said.

What if I disagree with you?

Since all opinions are welcome here, not all of them are going to be the same. If you and I disagree on a topic, tell me what you think about it, and I’ll be more than willing to discuss it with you. If I make a mistake, don’t hesitate to correct me (I said correct, not bitch at).

What is the point of this blog?

The point of this blog is to create a neutral environment where fans can gather in one place and find out what they agree on. It will also help (I hope) people discuss what they disagree on in a rational, CIVILIZED manner. Familiarizing yourself with contrasting opinions will help you improve how you voice your own. It not only forces you to evaluate/organize your thoughts, but an opinion is always stronger when the counter-argument is addressed/refuted. Keep an open mind and remember that even if someone disagrees with you, what they have to say is still important.

What is "Topic of the Day?"

Topic of the Day is basically a general topic that Melissa and/or I pick each day for people to ask about or share their opinion on. Questions don't necessarily have to pertain to this topic, but it's a good way to start a conversation and get people thinking. If you already have a topic that you want to discuss, you are more than welcome to. Topic of the Day is just a way to get started. IT GETS THE BRAIN JUICES FLOWING.
