Longer answer, there are a lot of dogs with very manageable disabilities that get euthanized or left in shelters.
Shadow was found abandoned in a dog crate in a trash pile with her mom and brother; her blindness is likely the result of animal cruelty. Loki is the product of a backyard breeder trying to create designer dogs, and then abandoned an entire litter of blind dogs by the road in the summer. Loki was born without eyes, and every other dog from his litter has died due to health complications
They don't deserve the start they had, but we can make sure that the rest of their life is a lot better

Ragnarok has happened, is happening, will have happened - time gets a little murky around cataclysmic events such as this.
Asgard has been destroyed, the Gods are dead or dying, but Fenris is not done yet.
Freed from his imprisonment, Loki must save the remaining realms and bring his unruly off-spring to heel. In order to do this, he will have to find his way to the 'Anywhen' and take back control of events.
Easier said than done, for the Anywhen lies deep in the shadowy space between the realms, where even Gods fear to tread.
What he needs is a guide - but do any of the original guardians remain?
This is NOT MCU Loki or even Comic Loki, this is more alternate mythology Loki that I'm making up on the hoof (but I'm still face casting Tom Hiddleston, obviously).

As much as I want Jotunn Loki in the Loki series, the problem with that is, in the Canon Lore, Loki was /permanently/ changed by Odin to an Asir body. He is no longer, genetically Jotunn & can only change by him forcing it, or touching Jotunn or the casket.
We would either have to see him change himself (which probably wont happen as he still hasn't even addressed his trauma with that in ANY capacity) or a true, Jotunn variant that was never turned Asir.

What toys do you buy for Loki, and is he a chewer, or a shredder (or both)?
Mainly he just gnaws on bones now, but we used to give him a lot of toys that he would almost never play with but he loved to hoard in big dragon piles
pictured above is him passed the pup out post-puppacino.
