Mobius finding a cat wandering around his hallway. It's strange since pets at the TVA were rare. Nobody else on his floor had any idea where the cat came from or who it belonged to. A beautiful, sleek black housecat. His eyes were of a shade of green that reminded him of Loki. He had missed him so much and he had been so incredibly lonely since he had left to sit on his throne at the end of Time to keep them all safe. So, he decides to adopt the cat himself. Who cares where it came from?
So, he brings it into his apartment and the cat struts around like he owns the place immediately, causing Mobius to chuckle.
He wants to name the cat Loki, but he doesn't because he worries his Loki might find that insulting. That, and he worries if he does that his friends will stage an intervention since they have just about had it with him and his, "I'm totally fine, guys," lies he keeps telling. So, Mobius names him Sweetheart, instead.
He finds out quickly that Sweetheart is horribly insulted at being served actual cat food, so he makes food for him himself. Apparently, there are a ton of cat-friendly homemade recipes that taste good to cats and humans and doesn't harm either of them, so he becomes that kind of cat owner who pampers their cat so much that he makes Sweetheart's food himself from scratch and even meal plans so that he doesn't get bored.
Sweetheart makes known how displeased he is when Mobius doesn't care for himself properly or brings his work home with him. And worries when Mobius returns from field missions with injuries.
Mobius is slightly alarmed when he begins bringing Sweetheart to work with him at his desk or in the archives and the cat becomes protective and territorial over him when certain TVA members come near Mobius.
