Yeah- I admit I am disappointed that the points for reviews feature is gone. It was my gold standard for earning points.

Yeah at first I was like, eh so what.  Then I thought about it and that’s $5 in points every box if you review everything!  

I get that the company is in trouble but the points really made disappointing boxes more palatable. I would have been fine if they’d said you can review one or two per box instead of doing away with it altogether.

I got the featured box this time and it’s definitely worth $10 but now I have much less reason to remain a subscriber if I get a couple of bad boxes in a row. I may try Ipsy for awhile.

I bought the lotion with points because I loved the scent of their leave in conditioner.

I have $17 in points right now and the leave in is $23. Since they stopped giving points for reviewing I'm not going to be getting anymore any time soon so I may as well use them while I'm still qualified for free shipping on all orders.

I think I could contribute to this discussion…. ;)

Thank you!  It’s been rather low key so far.  Mainly I’ve been catching up on sleep.  But I’m supposed to go out tonight. Haven’t decided whether to take advantage of a free birthday drink at a few bars or to go to the movies. Perhaps both?

i used to sort-of do any number of crafty things. but then i got a driver’s license and then i got a job and then the internet* happened. now all that’s left is this demented little photography project and a shitload of extra beads.

* note to younger followers: when tiny loki was a teenager, the internet was not a thing. tiny loki’s first modem was a 14.4 dial-up.
