OMG! Hey hon! omg! *glomps* I'm so glad to hear from you 'cause your blog was one of the ones I ignored by accident (xkit black list mistake by me) so back you go OTL
i am so so sorry for how late this is OTL SO SORRY but I hope you enjoy it!!
Everything seemed normal; like seven years hadn’t past and old friends weren’t little older, scars and wrinkles that weren’t there. It was a strange feeling, but now seeing how alive the guild was, the music and loud voice the smell of food drifting around. It was like nothing changed.
The party was a three in one kind, a celebration that those from Tenrou were back safe and sound, them being able to get the guild back from seven years ago, and of course…Bisca and Alzack’s “wedding” or more or less the party afterwards, but after things settled everyone, especially the couple, felt they wanted to “renew” their vows so everyone could be there with them this time.
It wouldn’t be as formal as the first one was, but as Alzack said it would be more fun, and thus it would have a theme something that Bisca refused for the first wedding which she wanted to be classy. But now any thoughts of that died away as the inside of the guild was turned “western” no different than what a pub would look like from where Alzack and Bisca lived when they were younger in the Western Region. It was slightly breathtaking looking at everything, that Levy couldn’t believe it was the same guild that had been taken away, and there was no money to even afford a piece of the door before they returned.
It really did seem like nothing changed at all.
“Levy! You look so cute!” Droy bellowed out suddenly, tearing her from her thoughts. Both Jet and Droy were just dressed simply in black western shirt, pants and a bolo tie. She smiled, happy to see them and still not over how much they had changed, how much things really did change. They seemed more mature as they came and stood beside her, no feeling she had to be nervous waiting for love confessions and fights; it was like they were kids again.
“And you guys are handsome!” she grabbed their hands, not noticing the faint blushes on their faces as they walked more into the guild, voices and music louder, as well as the smell of food. It felt good, Levy wanted to breath it all in, to imprint it all in her memory, the incident on Tenrou island made her feel a new appreciation for things in her life. Slowly she opened her eyes, scanning the room a nervous fluttering feeling started in her stomach as she finally caught sight of him in the corner of the bar, sitting at one of the tables drinking with Panther Lily. Her breath hitched slightly, feeling warm but she turned her back to him.
Levy didn’t want to seem clingy now they were home. Maybe it didn’t mean anything….”Levy?” she jumped eyes wide as she looked up at Jet who was giving her a strange look, “you okay?”
She smiled tightly, “I’m okay. You were saying…?” and he began to talk again, though more hesitant than he was before. Levy felt her eyes drifting around the room, taking in the exotic scenario and then looking down at her own dress, something Bisca picked out for the girls in which she referred to as a “saloon girl” dress, who worked in the bars in the West. A short dress that stopped above her knees, while in the back the “dress” part was bunched up into something like a bow, or how feathers on a bird would look, in Levy’s opinion. The corset like top part was shiny and beaded and the sleeves drooped around her shoulders, it was slightly loose on Levy giving her size, but it looked nice. Along with the feather in her hair, a part of her felt ridiculous, but didn’t mind it. Since the other girls were in some form of it as well, and seeing Lucy stand at the bar glaring at Natsu in her blue version of the dress was a sight to see.
“oi shrimp.” Levy blinked looking over to see Gajeel standing behind her, looking annoyed, “you finally heard me?” voice gruff but with a teasing hint to it. Levy smirked turning to him her arms folded, relieved that Droy and Jet seemed to be in a heated conversation with Elfman at the moment.
“Took your time finding me I see.” She tried to push back the blush she knew was fighting on her face, everything felt hot as she looked at him, also in a black outfit, but more grey and his shirt opened up, the bolo in his hand in which Gajeel still wore his steel gloves. But his hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, which made Levy heart flutter at the different look, wishing he wore it more. “Are you enjoying the party?” she stammered slightly, praying he didn’t notice.
“Tch ‘bout as crazy and loud as any party this damn guild has, nothin’ like you expect.” He looked annoyed, she noticed Lily was gone, but didn’t want to ask glad that they were ‘alone’.
“I think it’s nice...fun.” she felt herself swish her hips back and forth, to feel the soft red fabric against her legs. “It’s just like the books I read almost…” of course those books were either historical, about Western Magic, fantasy, or of course…romantic. Her mind trying to not think about it at all, or wondering how it feel to have his hands on her in the corner, pushing against her corset hearing the rustle of her skirt.
“Hey!” his voice knocked her out of the fantasy, and Levy felt her whole face burn, knowing she was bright red more so now he was face t face to her his own bright red eyes melting into her, like he knew everything she thought. “You okay? Looks like you’re sick.”
“I…I-I’m fine.” She stuttered, glancing away.
“So like I was sayin’ do you know any books about this stuff?” her eyes widen watching as he looked away, was he blushing…was he asking for her to tell him?
“What?”
“I mean do you know…anything about the Western region.” He sounded annoyed, or was that embarrassed and before he could continue his hand rubbing the back of his head, it was when she noticed he was chewing on a bolt.
Levy giggled, her hand covering her mouth as the other reached over and grabbed his, linking them together, “I think I can tell you a few things.” Enjoying seeing him blush and give her one of his big grins and his usual “gihi” laugh.
Levy smiled enjoying the feel of their hands and arms linked together, as they made their way over to one of the benches, happy she had some of her books with her and hidden them earlier, in case she needed something to read.
Everything had changed but as she looked at him, watching his intense stare, remembering what he had technically told her years ago, it felt like nothing had changed.
