Walking through the woods
Thinking about childhood.
A pair holding hands
Choosing to take a stand
Surrounded by rain
And their parents’ disdain
Even though she’s lowbred
Together forever they’ll remain
An addition! His perspective:
Together in the forest at the beginning of life
Just to get there meant trials and strife
Drenched in rain and parents’ disdain
But being together is worth any fight
