When / how did you discover SKAM?
In the spring of 2019. I actually heard about SKAM France and it reminded me of that little Norwegian TV show I meant to watch but never did… To think that I could maybe have followed SKAM in real-time *sobs*
What does SKAM mean to you?
I had never ventured into fanfic or any fandom before SKAM. I’ve discovered a great community and it allowed me to find a place to express myself like I never had before. I’ve always loved writing but I never thought I could share these words with others.
Who are your favourite SKAM characters?
Isak is my favourite. There are aspects of his story that resonate very strongly with me, but it’s also such a well written character. Even is a very close second, so writing them together is a real gift. I also love Magnus, and Vilde, I would have loved to see her story.
Why did you want to be part of the Big Bang mod team?
I loved participating in the last Big Bang as a writer and I wanted to make sure that the event would be back in 2022; for those like me who had such a good time, and for those who didn’t get the opportunity to do it... Now’s your chance!
What did you like best about the SKAM Big Bang 2021?
The lovely and supportive community. All the amazing content that made every day of the summer feel like Christmas. Working with an incredibly talented artist and witnessing her give life to my story through her art. That was an absolute dream!
What would you like to say to anyone thinking of signing up?
I was very intimidated when I first signed up for the Bang last year but I found so much support and had so much fun! I’m glad I decided to do it, I mean I loved it so much that I’m now committed to devote the next few months to the Bang :D It really is a great experience.
