Not far from Lokni's camp With ~ @tempestaslokni
In a race back to the warehouse, Tej didn't manage to beat the approaching sundown. Dark swept through the trees quick. It might not be the brightest idea to be in the wilderness at dusk. But really, was anyplace safe? Day or night, he'd grown to accept having to look out for himself around there.
So it felt odd to fire off a text to Lokni. Maybe the ambient sounds of the woods were getting to him. Maybe a pitstop at Lokni's wasn't a terrible idea. He could borrow one of those spears, perhaps.
Tej: hey i'm in your neck of the woods, ha Tej: normally i wouldn't mind being a magnetic for trouble but when we're together it gets to be more than we both bargained for Tej: thought i'd see if you'd want to change that, if youre up for some company. nbd if not tho
Tej kept walking with the occasional glance over a shoulder becoming more frequent.
