When or if I started shipping it: I didn’t fully start shipping them until like, the third episode tbh. I didn’t, and still don’t, like the way he neglects to let Mary explain herself with certain things or how quick he is to dismiss her. Perhaps some of that falls on the show with the wicked relationship whiplash trend they’ve got going on. But regardless, by the fourth episode there was no turning back hahaha.

My thoughts: I have a lot of them. Frary makes me crazy; they make me angry and they make me so happy. It was a rare thing to find love in an arranged marriage, so I think their relationship thus far, although tumultuous is also the start (hopefully) of a beautiful journey. 

What makes me happy about them: I love the way they look at each other. I think that may just be my favorite thing. I love that she broke through his walls by just being herself, and that they strive/dream so much to be just a boy and a girl. It’s young love and it’s messy and lovely and new UGH!

What makes me sad about them: The current situation they’re in. Love is never easy, but I wish it hadn’t already come to such an extreme. It’s painful to watch because she’s choosing to live in a world where he exists, but can’t be by his side instead of living in a world in which he doesn’t exist at all. And he’s just got his blinders on, where loving her is the only thing that matters to him to the point where he can’t even begin to try and reason with her decision. Meanwhile both of their hearts are breaking in front of each other and I’m so upSET.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Anything out of character, and I’m not that fond of pet names. Besides like love, or darling. Babe,baby or sweetheart just irk me in their case.

Things I look for in fanfic: FANFIC. I’ve only found like three decent ones and it makes me so sad because I just want to read fics about them.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I honestly don’t know, I haven’t thought of that kjgfht.

My happily ever after for them: That this plot doesn’t go through and they find their way back to each other and get married and have babies and live happily ever after fairytale style THE END.

What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Being silly in love teenagers. I wish so much that they could just be carefree. Idc how ooc this is, but I think it would be cute if Francis ever taught/tried to teach Mary how to fight/defend herself for the sake of being close to her AND hopefully dissipating her fear of being attacked slightly, making her feel a little more confident. Also I think it would be nice if Mary were to sit with Francis while he makes his swords, watching him as he works and tells her about what he’s making, teaches her about each design and she would bring him various things to decorate the handles with.
