The second Land of Lasers and Fog Overnighter is coming this Holiday season! If you thought it couldn't get any more fun than the first overnighter, well, get ready to be wrong. Ask anyone who attended the first, this is the meet to be at if you're looking for something awesome. Something special is happening this time however; thanks to the holidays, this overnighter will also be a catered holiday party! Gristmas, you dig? 

With the idea that this meetup is not just about Laser Tag, but a holiday gathering itself, you can expect decorations, themed goodies and prizes, and music. And a menu, also. There's going to be plenty of food to keep you all on your feet, including delicious sweets from our resident Jane Crocker. There'll be more than enough for everyone.

A few changes, caveats, things being done differently here and there. We got through the first overnighter without all too much hubbub, so it's going to be a well greased engine; much more time for fun and games. But here's what's happening. This is all very important, so read closely. 

The Price is INCREASING BY 5$. FROM 35$ TO 40$. THE SINGLE ADMISSION IS 40$. 

Remember those awesome Goody Bags? The ones with the stickers, the apple juice, the awesome pearler bead pins, gushers, god tier trinkets.... That costs monster dough, out of our pocket, before anything extra from the overnighter comes into play. That extra we had left over after the overnighter was fully paid for was enough to pay for the extra cash Julian put into the deposit fund, and that's it. We lost a good chunk of money.

The extra five dollars will not only provide for the money we put into the next goody bags and prizes, but will also pay for most food you'll be eating. Only five dollars and it helps us break even on paying for all the goodies. But if it is, if you have a friend, you can cut the price by a little bit. Here's how.

DUAL ADMISSION: 50$ FOR A PAIR OF PEOPLE (or, 25$ EACH)

Anyone who went to the first overnighter will know not everyone who paid to play actually played every game. Few did. Some even paid just to come and enjoy being with each other and enjoy the festivities. Some of us played one game, rested the next. We had a hefty backlog of people who wanted to go but got turned away since we were way over our original intended capacity of attendants. So, a solution.

You and a friend will both be able to pay 25$ to share the gun you will be paying for. This means you and your friend both get to attend for 25$ each, instead of 40$.

Both of you can play games in an alternating fashion

One person could play most of the games and the other could stay for the feelings jams and festivities

On the off chance that you both just want to enjoy the party, that's fine too! Make sure you tell us that's the case though. Very important.

Only UP TO EIGHT PAIRS WILL BE ALLOTTED THIS DEAL. REMEMBER, ONLY ONE OF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY AT THE ANY GIVEN TIME. 

Since this is going to be a much more grand affair with holiday trappings and presents and a nice Gristmas dinner, we suggest you take advantage of this by pairing up with your friends if such an agreement can be made between you two. Laser Tag is only one slice of the pie that is this meetup. This is about being together.

Continuing; On the subject of attending... follow these rules to a tee. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. 

WHEN THE MEETUP TO COLLECT -CASH MONEY- FOR THE DEPOSIT OCCURS, THOSE THERE WILL GET FIRST DIBS AT RESERVING FOR THE OVERNIGHTER. 

AFTER THOSE WHO GRACIOUSLY ASSIST US WITH PAYING FOR THE VENUE DEPOSIT GET THEIR SPOTS, THOSE WHO ATTENDED THE LAST OVERNIGHTER WILL GAIN PRIORITY FOR A COUPLE DAYS AFTER THAT MEETUP.

WHEN THE TIME COMES TO RESERVE, YOU MUST SEND US A SUBMISSION WITH A FORM FILLED OUT (to be provided soon), OR EXPRESSLY SEEK ME OR RAQUEL OUT TO TELL US THAT YOU WISH TO RESERVE. There will be nothing informal as there was previously. You seek us out and tell us that you will be attending and await a response, you do not simply decide that you are going or show up at the door the day of without any warning. We will always answer you back to let you know that you got your reservation. THERE IS A FACEBOOK PAGE, BUT DOES NOT TELL THE WHOLE STORY WITH ATTENDANCE. WE HAVE A LIST THAT WE WILL NOT PUT YOU ON IF YOU SIMPLY DECIDE TO RSVP ON FACEBOOK. TELL US YOU WILL BE ATTENDING, WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION, AND YOU WILL SET.

IF YOU RESERVED YOUR SPOT AND ALL THE SUDDEN YOU CANT ATTEND, INFORM US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We had to turn away around ten people because we were overbooked. About five of you didn't show up and we didn't get any advance warning. PLEASE, IF YOU CANT ATTEND, TELL US SO WE CAN THIN OUT THE WAITING LIST. THANK YOU.

WE ABSOLUTELY RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TURN AWAY WHOEVER WE WISH.

TELL US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE YOU'LL BE ABLE TO ATTEND. THERE WAS A COLOSSAL BACKLOG OF PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO GO LAST TIME AND WE ENDED UP HAVING FIVE PEOPLE NOT ATTEND. SPEAK UP.

We're going to keep most of the amazing games from last time, such as FLARP, Directional and Gauntlet, and change things around to lessen the strain and better the pace of the night. 

This will also be, once again, a BRING YOUR OWN FOOD event. It is really so much easier if everyone can pick something to bring and share with everyone; a bag of chips, a carton of water, some faygo, a bag of ice... A lot of money came out of pocket to cover food and drinks and if you guys could get something to share, we'd really appreciate it!

Directions: Coming North or South on I75; Exit on Sunrise, head Eastbound until University Dr., Take a left on University, and the location will be in great bright letters. LASERQUEST.  Coming from I95: Exit on Sunrise, head West until University Drive. The road curves about quite a bit when you come from this angle, but don’t make any turns until University. Take a right (north) on University, and the location will be visible to your left.

Arpegi's is the land of light and festivities, of which i've got a bunch of illustrations for already after that one thing i did ages ago. I like her land a lot too.
