I have two dogs - a pekingese (Ming) and a pug (Max). Ming is a fearless lion who won't take orders or really respect anyone but me and Max is a weiner who's afraid of everything but so incredibly loving it's ridiculous.

I've already chosen the exact career path I want. Well, trained assassin is high up in the list but I'm too physically inpet so fashion journalist is fine. Getting paid for writing is my dream yo

NEW YORK CITY which is where I am (third time). I'd love to go back to Thailand and Greece.

To have my feelings not be unrequited or at least for the person not to leave my life, to do very well in school, to start making a name for myself in the business and to get noticed and start writing for a London-based publication.

okay first off - 2NE1, fave girl group because they are absolutely flawless and also adorable and sweet ladies, but they are way 2 cool for everyone - fave songs are Fire, Hate You, I Don't Care, I AM THE BEST (legit one of my favorite songs omg so good for getting pumped up), and I Love You (ah so so so good, different from their other stuff but such a cool song and the mv is so stylish)
a really short one - I know absolutely nothing about this lady but this song is my JAM omg Andamiro - Hypnotize
then there's B1A4, really cute boy group omg the adorableness is off the SCALES. Favorite song are OK (I love you oooh oooh ooohh~~~), Beautiful Target (pure fun and horrible engrish), Baby Goodnight, and Tried to Walk (gorgeous song written by leader Jinyoung aka my favorite member and owner of The Best Face)
next is BAP, a boy group that just debuted this year, they started with a really powerful image and then went oddly cutesy? the cutesy stuff is good but I really love them for the earlier stuff – favorite mvs are Warrior, Power, and No Mercy
Beast - some of the members are a little questionable (racism!!) but I really like some of their songs, like Beautiful Night (really good summery jam) and Fiction
Bigbang - oh god oh god my favorite group ever, flawless men I can't even list my favorites because it would go on SO LONG but I guess I'll try to narrow it down a bit – Bad Boy, Blue, and Fantastic Baby all came out around the same time earlier this year and these were the videos that got me into kpop so... yeah. for their older stuff I really recommend Tonight, Lies, and Haru Haru. There's also the various other projects their members have done – my personal recommendations are GD&TOP's stuff (especially Knockout and Turn It Up) and GD's recent solo album (his earlier solo album had too much autotune for me to really love it) particularly One of a Kind, Crayon, and Light It Up (ugh ultimate jam wish it had an mv that would be badass) but that whole album is really good (GD - One of a Kind)
Block B - I'm just getting into them but Nillili Mambo is already flat out one of my favorite kpop songs, especially from this year. NalinA is pretty good too and includes some pretty hilarious english lyrics (i don't know i don't know but i'm hard)
As for Boyfriend, I've watched some of their earlier videos and they're kinda too cutesy even for me but Janus is really good
omg Brown Eyed Girls! I'm just getting into them but wow they are so great, check out how great they are. Abracadabra is kind of a classic, and Sixth Sense is fucking awesome for many many reasons. One of their members, Ga-In, is really great, because GASP SOMEONE IN KPOP WHO IS COMFORTABLE WITH FEMALE SEXUALITY. Bloom is one of my favorite videos of the year and is a really fun song. also, sex scene. you can skip the artsy stuff in the beginning? the song itself starts around 2 minutes in. also if you turn on the subtitles you can see the english translation, which just makes me love her MORE
BTOB just debuted this year and their first songs weren't as good but I really like WOW, because wow butts and cute boys and also jamworthy song
Epik High - this is a tricky one because they're REALLY FAMOUS FOR BEING AWESOME and I need to listen to their older stuff but I just haven't gotten around to it! they just came back though and I love their recent album - Don't Hate Me and Up were the ones they promoted but the whole album is great
and then there's EXO! they also debuted this year but you wouldn't guess it because they're already super popular and such pros. History is actually probably my favorite dance-y song from them, but some of their unreleased (so far) stuff is really good too – not dance-y but good! My Lady and Baby Don't Cry are personal favorites.
f(x) is kinda tricky - I love the girls but I just don't like their music as much as I want to. However, Electric Shock (their most recent single) is really fun and I enjoy it a lot. I also kinda like Nu Abo, though it depends on my mood.
Infinite - not only are they cute boys but they're also AWESOME DANCERS, GODDAMN. my favorite infinite videos are BTD (dance version because holy fuck that dance), Be Mine (again dance version just beCAUSE) and The Chaser (definitely one of my favorite kpop songs this year). Also, just as a special mention, their song In the Summer (live performance!) is really cute, I love these boys so much. Their leader, Sunggyu, just released a solo album, and it's also REALLY GOOD? like, wow. favorites are 41 Days and 60 Seconds, but the whole album is fantastic.
I just started listening to MBLAQ, but their song Mona Lisa is such a solid jam and also they are hot and total dorks.
miss A are FLAWLESS FABULOUS WOMEN, HOLY SHIT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Bad Girl Good Girl is what they debuted with and it's fab (jyp~~) and their most recent song is I Don't Need a Man which as its title would imply is about independent ladies. turn on the english subtitles for the full misandry experience (it is not really about misandry)
ah, SHINee. the boy band I wasn't expecting to love this much. sighs deeply, buries face in pillows. definitely watch Lucifer, Replay (their first song omg babies), and Sherlock because those are three of my absolute favorites. I also really like Love Like Oxygen and Juliette, although Juliette took some time to grow on me. please appreciate how hard I have worked to make the SHINee section of this not entirely keysmashes, but I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
I don't think a kpop rec list would be complete without the following two groups, actually - their music may not always be the best, but they're such a big deal that you just CAN'T ignore them. so.
SNSD (or Girls' Generation) - some of their stuff is really cutesy, like Gee or Oh! (the dances are fun to learn though), and some of it is more sexy, like Run Devil Run or Mr. Taxi. My favorite song, I think, walks the line in between - Genie. I also really like Beep Beep, which was the b-side to their most recent Japanese single and is really cute.
aaaand Super Junior. I haven't spent too much time with Suju yet, but I'm getting there. their songs are super catchy, though. favorites are Sorry Sorry (ofc, a kpop classic), Mr. Simple, Sexy Free and Single (I'm ready to bingo, Donghae) and SPY.
oh god TVXQ (or DBSK, I can never decide which to use). TVXQ is daunting because they are SUCH A BIG FUCKING DEAL omg. I won't even go into the members too much (too confusing) but just - my favorites are Mirotic (unffff), Keep Your Head Down, Catch Me (really cool choreography), and Humanoids. I haven't had the chance to listen to too much of their music yet.
I never got too into U-KISS, but I really like Neverland.
