So obviously the normative flip side is worse but why the fuck is it always on me to make the opening move? Even if we're just friends and I just want to be friends if I don't keep conversation and hang outs flowing then they just stop. Home girl don't say a damn word to me and then later is all like "Oh I see how it is. You just not interested unless you can put your dick in." Ummmm excuse me? I work constantly during hours normal human beings are off and why is it on ME to hit YOU up? I hate dealing with the normative assumption that as a man if I want anything other than friend/acquaintance-ship that it's on me to make the move she will most likely hate but now you telling me if I even want to be friends with a girl it's still on me? And if the conversation is no longer deeply centered around her something is up? My god I do not have the energy for friendship with the opposite sex to really mean "I need you to flirt with me constantly and always seem interested in me and always hit me up first."
