I asked for fluff and I made angst
Context: Theres one option for Lo and Ela’s story I imagined where the two have children, but Alexstrasza comes and attempts to convince Lominian to let her or another of her brood raise them, as they would end up having powers of the red dragonflight and Lo has little to no way of teaching them the proper way of handling said abilities. He lashes out of course, because his own mother would not try and save him from his corruption but comes immediately to sweep away his own children. Ela has to calm him down because he gets so angry he begins to challenge Alexstrasza, which would not end well.

19) When they feel safest
I dont think he ever really feels safe? He sorta just lives in a constant state of uncomfortability and wariness. I suppose though eventually he’d come to feel as safe as he can when he develops bonds with Ela and her sisters, but even then now that he has people around (and people he cares about at that), he’ll gain paranoia along with that.

Lominian is one of the surviving members of Alexstrasza’s last brood that was taken by Deathwing before his defeat. During his incubation the corruption did not fully take place, and he was born as a strange crossbreed between a black and red dragon. His particular cross between conflicting powers and duties of life and death meant he was not welcomed back into the red dragonflight but was also unable to join the black dragonflight. As a result, he became a lone wanderer.
His personality is a bit....off. It is very obvious that he has an internal struggle going on. Part of him enjoys the corruption he was exposed to, and he partially revels in participating in any of the nasty habits of the black dragonflight, but there’s often a feeling of guilt in his gut after said actions. On the other hand he feels slightly uncomfortable participating in any of the benevolent actions his red dragon blood compels him to do.
Normally Lominian doesn’t interact with other beings anymore, he’s used to being shunned or attacked. Though he does silently hope to someday find or make a brood he can call his own.
His mortal appearance is a nightborne, he’s been disconnected from most being for so long his thought process is something akin to “This is still respectable, right?”
