after all these years I finally found the shetl community that my family was a part of, along with videos, letters, and all this info that I dreamed of having. I’m watching a video back in 2009 of people returning to jedwabne to honor the dead and it really touched me and makes me want to return to give my respects to my family and to “our family” more broadly.
