MONDAY JULY 17th 2017 Did some desk work then Rachel & I went and collected my medication from Boots Pharmacy. They had called to say that it would be ready by 2.00pm and it was! We walked along the Thames on our way to the pharmacy and Rachel saw a seal. She could not believe her eyes so she checked online afterwards and found out that the Canary Wharf area is London’s seal watching hotspot according to the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). She even found a video to prove it!

Then we went on to the Yurt Café at the Royal Foundation of St Katherine’s Precinct and had refreshments. I had an iced coffee. I had iced coffee regularly in New York City. This afternoon at the Royal Foundation I didn’t think it tasted the same as in my apartment at 525 East 72nd Street, possibly because I now only have the memory of an old man, or because today it was “made in England”, probably both, certainly the second. But then I would say that, wouldn’t I?
