OKAY well I ramble about Raster a lot so I’ll ramble about the actual main character from that story eskjfhskef
(not my art, but the artist has since remade blogs and im not sure of their new one :O)
the girl in this pic is Phoenix, aka Phee-- she’s a nine year old inventor and mechanic! the story they’re in is the type where you would never really question why a nine year old is running around a city at all hours of the night looking for scrap and building robots while she also goes to school and has loving parents (that you never see) eksjfhskehfs
She ends up finding Raster hiding in a dumpster one night while she’s looking for pieces for her next build, and is just kinda like. hey. why are you in a dumpster at 3am. and Raster decides she’s the perfect person to tell that for reasons he cannot figure out he’s both wanted by the police and has gang bounties out on his head. and Phoenix is like. that sucks. come hang out in my workshop instead! so she harbors him and ends up getting involved in a deeper mystery as she tries to figure out what happened to Raster
She’s lovable and excitable and smart but still learning a lot and really good at getting into things she’s not supposed to eksjhfkjshf she’s terrified of growing up and doesn’t want to think or talk about it much, but she also wants to be taken seriously and treated as smart, while some adults just write her off as a kid
