고독한 항해 by 김윤아 Cover + Dr. Ji Sunwoo Inspired OOTD
So one night, I wrapped all of my work up earlier than expected so I fell asleep at 8pm. Woke up at 3am, now perfectly awake and have nothing left to do. I then tried to watch one special episode of JTBC’s “The World of Married” but couldn’t get myself to finish it because all these behind-the-scenes really bore me. lol
And because like I said, I’ve got nothing left to do, so what’s the most normal thing to do right at this ungodly hour? Sing! kk~ I sang TWOM’s OST at 3AM and recorded just half of my face (at least I only need to wear lip tint for this). haha sorry neighbors. Sharing my low quality song cover of one of the saddest Korean songs I’ve heard, prolly 2nd to Joo Hyung Jin’s 헤어지자고.
And yes, for this impromptu 3am song cover, I actually dressed up like Dr. Ji Sun Woo from The World of Married! During the time of watching this drama, I figured how similar-looking our clothes were. Well of course, I don’t own clothing pieces from Dior or Chanel, but Sunwoo’s style is what I’ve been slowly getting into these days as I greet my 30s hello.
So after my song cover, I played a bit of dress up - at 3am, YES! I literally have hundreds of clothes for work and events but now that I’m home most of the time due to the pandemic, I've found myself playing dress up at home more often haha
One of my favorite clothing pieces recently are tie neck blouses. I usually tie them into a ribbon but with Sunwoo as my style inspiration, I think I’ll wear it in a simple loop more often, just like in my song cover right there!
One fact about me - I am obsessed with oversized clothing! I don’t have much of tailored blazers or coats because I buy them at 2 to 3x my size! Here’s my favorite oversized autumn coat.
HAHA this is my best impression of Sunwoo’s “I felt so betrayed/This isn’t what I planned” look! Did you guys notice that too? She always puts her fingers on her lips as if she’s about to bite all her nails off but she won’t. Parang ganun lang talaga yung interpretation nya of being ‘SHOCKED’.
Well, I sure don’t have a leather coat but at least I have a similar printed scarf. Nagmukha nga lang ako stewardess instead of a tita member of a high society women’s club with a shotgun at one hand lol
Well, I know this post is so freakin random and this isn’t a beauty post like the usual. But this year, I kind of want to bring my blog back to how it was 5-6 years ago. More variety, more personal stuff, and blog posts wherein I don’t really think too much about my grammar, structure and photos. ;)
