Rain Won't Stop // Lonelyavarice

Thunder rang though Mei's ears as she hustled through the busy streets of Dublith. Rain poured on her raven head and splashed on her already-soaked clothes. Today was probably a bad day to look all over the city for what she had been searching for so long; Mei didn't know what she was thinking. Stupid, stupid, stupid...

All unfortunate events aside, the princess sensed the presence of someone she knew well. A chi completely different from a normal human's, but still quite friendly and a trustworthy man. He says he never tells lies, after all, and Mei could prove it to herself since she could feel it. But according to some of the readings... Why was Greed sitting out in the rain, under apartment roofs?

Mei approached the source of the chi nervously, her steps slowing as negative emotions seeped out from the alleys. "...Greed? Is... Is that you?" she whispered, the towering walls taking her voice down the row. The little girl moved closer, her shoes sending rain droplets from the ground into the air. "Greed, come on out. You can talk to me. You can trust me. Tell me what's bothering you, okay?"
