Ruby due to being at the wrong place at the wrong time was also stuck in this unfortunate situation. Haunted house attractions can be intense on earth, but in Hell it was another story. Everything down here was worse even though the blue imp was accustomed to it. She still despised it.
However, it was worse due to the fact she was with one of the Vees. Sure she would be respectful to their faces, but she would be lying if she said they didn’t make her nervous. Which is putting it lightly…so to be stuck with one wasn’t at all on her wishlist before her short termed life in this hell hole. Especially one that was clearly and already pissed off who could easily take her anger out on her.
So she decided to play her cards right….to be polite and cautious while not being to grading. However, she couldn’t help but to be angry herself at this situation.
“I don’t either…I wished I brought my pistol I probably would have been able to shoot the damn door knob…but regardless we’re trapped in this shit situation together…” Ruby hissed in irritation as she looked at the door that kept them inside then back at Velvette.
“And I’m honestly surprised you couldn’t open it yourself…aren’t overlords supposed to stronger than regular sinners or somethin…? Especially one of the notorious Vees that I heard so much about,” she added out loud that was rather dangerously blunt as she looked at the female overlord, however, there was a hint of something else. What if this place was made with angelic material in here that countered her abilities. Her eyes immediately widened…SHIT.
Velvette let out an incredulous scoff at the idea of using a gun to break the lock. That stuff worked only in movies. In real life, it might have done something against a wooden door, but the one trapping them was made entirely of metal. If they had tried to shoot it, the bullet would have most likely just bounced back and, in the worst case scenario, hit one of them.
She would know, since Valentino was prone to that sort of stunts and, unfortunately, she and Vox had witnessed them more than once.
"Oh yeah, great idea! Why not shooting yourself in the head directly, hn?" She shot back, tone heavy with sarcasm. "Good thing you left the damned thing at home."
The "you dumb bitch" went unsaid, but it was very much implied.
With that, the fashionista started to pace, stopping in front of the opposite wall to kick at it in frustration. Usually, she had an easier time keeping her cool, but knowing that she couldn't just walk out of that room as she pleased left her feeling uneasy. It brought back memories she preferred pretending to have forgotten, it made her fingers itch with the need to grab something and prove to herself that she was still in control.
So, while borderline offensive the other demoness's next words were a welcome distraction. The anger they lit up in her chest drowned the mounting uneasiness and she whipped around, hair raising as sparks of purple-red sparks of energy running over her shoulders and disappearing in her now wild mane.
"I can show you how քօաɛʀʄʊʟ the Vees are," she hissed, taking a threatening step towards the other. "Maybe I can't open this door, but I can ʊռɖօ ʏօʊ."
For a moment, it looked like she was going to attack, but in the end she just threw her hands in the air and the power she had conjured dispersed.
"...Whatever, not worth it. I don't have time for that either." She frowned, forehead creasing as she wrecked her brain, looking for a solution. "Maybe this is some sort of cheap Saw rip-off and there's some fucking puzzle around. To open the door. Or find the key."
