Announcing: A Brand New Event!... It's Summer Rickation!!! 🏖️

Hello, Lovelies!! I'm sorry it's been a while since I've posted. After writing for this past year's Rickmas event, I was inspired to come up with a fun idea for the summer---Summer Rickation! The event is fourteen days, running from July 26th-August 8th. The tags are "Summer Rickation 2026" and "Rickation 2026." A huge shout-out to @deepperplexity for helping brainstorm name ideas and lending me a surge of courage to post! This year's theme is "At the Beach," the prompts are as follows:

Truly, madly, deeply saddened to learn today that @muiitoloko has decided to step away from fic writing. There were definitely times in the past year when reading her fics helped get me through some rough moments. Absolutely devastated to learn that one of the fic writers who inspired me to start writing and posting fics is packing the keyboard away.

If you’ve never read her fics before, I highly encourage you to set aside some time to do so. Not only is she a brilliant author, but also a rather witty, profound soul. I genuinely hope she continues to lurk in the community, even if she no longer plans on creating.

When I write Frank fics, they’re usually intended for an audience of one (and that’s @muiitoloko, although I love all my readers, lol, 😂 ). If you ever have a request, know that yours will always take priority!

I wish her all the best in her future endeavors🎉. I just wanted to let her know her writing has truly made an impact and will continue to do so. If she ever decides to return to writing, there will be a space waiting. Raise a glass!🥂 Love you, @muiitoloko!!

I'm Back!!!

Hey, lovelies, I'm in the car, on my way back from vacation! Spent a week at the beach, exploring a truly gorgeous island. Although I am definitely sunburned, and sporting a new, weird skin reaction to said burn, my fingers still work... so time to get back to business and type! More fics to come this week…

New Notes & New Fic Updates

Hey everyone, I’m just popping on here to say a few things in light of the new Tumblr update… Yeah, it’s not great, and I genuinely challenge you to find one person in the comment/reblog section of the @staff or @changes posts actually in favor of the new update.

I won’t bore you all with the update details (I’m sure you’ve heard by now), but know that, as of this moment, it won’t keep me from posting my works here. I would just like to ask everyone to please, please, please interact with my, and other artists’, original posts.

The Rickmaniac/Alan Rickman community isn’t exactly huge — and I fear for many of the artists here, the re-direction of notes/engagement may be a bit of a confidence blow.

All artists, big and small, and from every fandom, are going to be affected by this. Please continue to support them at this time.

Based on the level of outrage, I really don’t see this decision sticking, 🤞.

A few new fics in the works this week. I’m going on vacation at the end of this month/beginning of April and don’t anticipate having much time to write. Inbox will remain open, but anything requested after next Tuesday likely will not be written until the second week of April.

Hey everyone, I finally finished Rickmas 2025, woohoo!!! 🎉 (It took me far, far longer than I originally intended, sorry lol). Thank you to everyone reading, loving, and reblogging my fics! Welcome and thank you to everyone who has started following me! I wanted to give everyone a few reminders. 1) Please, please, please feel free to send me asks and fic requests! ✏️2) I'm fairly new to both Tumblr and Ao3's tagging systems. Please, please, please let me know if I need to add a particular warning or tag to a piece (during Rickmas, I found out I was using the wrong tag, ha - I was very grateful for the correction).
