「✄┅」Reiyn nearly dropped the tea set in hand when her mistress’ palm met with her rear, a sharp snap echoed throughout the private parlor before it went silent once more. She refused to make a sound and placed the set on the table between the two chairs, the other empty waiting for the mistress’ afternoon guest to arrive. Reiyn turned her head slightly, giving the young woman a dark look with her visible eye.
“Lingqi.” She called the younger woman by only her first name as she stood at her side once more. “Your guest will be arriving soon. I implore you to please keep your hands to yourself when they sit for tea.” Reiyn merely stated upholding her professional facade even though her rear was sore.
Lingqi has planned to do that to her tall maid ever since she was kicked out of the room after their suggestive activity that early morning of the first day of the New Year. That action was uncalled for especially coming from a maid to her mistress. At first, the silver haired girl was proud enough to cross her arms after slapping the tan woman’s rear, but when she met that deathly gaze, Lingqi’s arms slowly fell to her sides as if her pride was swallowed up by the wormhole of Reiyn’s eye.
The tall woman called Lingqi by her given name, that did not bode well... The mistress knew that the hard way when she did some very stupid things before her oath to be less impulsive.
Lingqi replied with a nod and a brief hum. She learned from past experiences that in the situation of Reiyn being upset with her, it was best to keep quiet until the cloud of enmity dissipated.
