He's read of children, but he's too old to remember being a child himself -- despite him reverting to child's mind on occasion. Thus the reasons why he finds himself shifting awkwardly, twiddling his thumbs as he tries to plot a way to shatter strange silence. It comes to him suddenly, &. he suddenly scurries off downstairs. This is followed by crashing, &. a loud grunt that he was ok. He stumbles back up, &. offers a fruit native to the desert--least he could do to be hospitable was offer food.
He was more then lost. First Beatrice is missing, & all of a sudden Greg goes missing as well. He continued walking, & walking. That seemed to be what he ever did for what seemed like eternity, ( but in reality only hours ). Walking to wherever he could find anything, something to change from the darkness of the woods that he was trespassing. The cold wind blowing, & his cape flowing behind him letting all the air touch his long sleeves. The cold was getting to him as he was ready to just lay down in a pile of leaves, & hope it would keep him warmth.
Finally he crashed near a Tree. He was sick of walking, & he couldn’t stay up all night long. His heart was in a dream, but his vision was pitch black as he saw no more visions of imaginary. What seemed to be days was hours, & he finally was awake. Though no where near the tree he had been previously resting in. His eyes scanned the area to see it was just a humble home. He was laying on a couch, it was definitely more comfier than laying on the ground next to a tree.
After a moment of silence he heard footsteps that would soon come down the stairs. A big man then came crashing down all the ways to the bottom floor, ( the area he was current in. ) He heard a grunt come from the man in the mask, perhaps it was a sign that he was not injured ?? He assumed the man was the one who brought him here to the house, he should thank them on that later. Right now the guy was holding out a fruit of some sort, & he was a little reluctant to take the fruit at first. Though, he hasn’t eaten in what was days now, & he’s ready to eat anything at this point —– so he grabbed the fruit from the man’s hand.
❝ Th-thank you sir. Um, as well as for bringing me here. It was probably a dumb idea to just settle down in the middle of no where in the woods, so at least I’m not eaten by the beast. ❞
