This is very long but well worth a watch. Laurence Juber is delightful (despite the format of the interview). His memory is so clear and detailed!

My highlights include (times approximate): - All the love for the album, especially Arrow Through Me. - "I got my undergraduate from London School of Music and my Masters from Paul McCartney" (can't find the time stamp) 0h04m Juber's assessment of why Paul doesn't really rate BTTE and why Wings fizzled out.

From Zayn's interview for the Call Her Daddy podcast, it really seems like he has plans to do some performances when he releases his new music which is super exciting!

Lots of discussion of Zayn's personality, life in Pennsylvania, his upbringing, influences of his daughter, and a bit on his time in one direction. Not anything that gets into the depths, and unfortunately only a tiny tidbit about his music that is to be released. Overall I think this serves more as a re-introduction to Zayn the man, rather than a detailed conversation about his upcoming music.

For the 1D stuff, we got a few nuggets in there about the boys knowing each other fairly well once the audition process had gotten underway, a bit about his decision to leave being partially triggered by the politics of the band at the time (others not signing contracts, getting the sense that things were coming to an end) amongst other factors, but nothing too revealing.

Overall I was left the burning desire to chill with Zayn on the farm and hear him and his daughter do their best harmonizing to You've Got A Friend In Me.
