interesting facts abt dreamchildren? and please please please give facts about abel and the dreamkids unstable abilities 🖤

dreamchildren are the equivalent to angels & demons! their basic species description is the same - they are a physical manifestation of their sense of self, of their mind, of their personality. their body changes depending on emotional (mental, emotional) stability and when unstable they can develop monstrous features ranging from elongated and sharp nails to multiple limbs, even heads

the difference between dreamchildren and angels/demons is the physical stability itself, abels nature has led to dreamchildren being the least (physically) stable of the deities’ monster species. dreamchildren are just more prone to growing monster features! their bodies are more sensitive to their emotional state

one defining feature dreamchildren have, though, that angels and demons do not share is their palette - their skin mostly or completely lacks pigment (usually being paper white, occasionally with coloured joints) and their hair is black through and through. this is relevant to abel as a person as well as their stability.. but they stay black & white in colour, despite other species that can be mixed in (creating an anomaly)

typical innate features of dreamchildren, apart from their palette, includes sharp teeth and sharp, black nails. the most common eye colour is black, but it is not limited to black alone. the most common colour of joints (on those who have coloured joints) is black as well

their palettes extend to their internal organs - most dreamchildren have black blood & black organs, all in all black insides. grey or black tongue, it reaches everything

despite the palette, dreamchildren are not limited to light skinned races.. i would compare the skin part of it to albinism, but with its own differences (of course being unrealistic, as they are a fictional species)

abilities can change depending on the individual, but every single dreamchild is capable of developing the basic features - monster claws and horns. some have enhanced strength and some have enhanced durability, but its not a consistent quality 

on abel - abel is left as the deity with the least amount of available information as theyre “locked” away, by themself, in some kind of dream hell. they arent one to reach out to others unless it is absolutely needed, and they have some personal problems that are related to this choice. theyre just a very isolated person, and at best, theyre caught watching over others or communicating with prophets who dont listen (for that reason). they want to be heard, but not paid enough attention to to cause concern

appearance wise, abel looks like a sentient glitch, their (physical) body is unstable and is changing multiple times a second, they take the look of anyone who exists or has existed in the past. theyre constantly changing bodies, and this is accompanied by what i can only describe as physical glitches? things out of place, you can imagine. they can settle on one body for a time if they have a reason to - an example being them taking the form of ash when they approached bailey

abel does have a real body, a singular body they were born with, but this body is not to be revealed until i find some way to execute my story fully :0c
