We’ve come a long way, Guardian. But the fight isn’t over yet.
(Thank you to @emanite for bringing the most recent incident to my attention)
I’ve had a few instances where people have been reposting my art to other places.
Most of the reposted art so far have been sh*tpost-level fan art so I’m not quite as upset as I probably should be, but It’d be great if people would stop doing that without permission or giving credit.
In one case, the person, upon being asked to credit me, did so. I would have prefered if they hadn’t reposted it in the first place, but it was on a site I didn’t use (and had no intention of signing up on), and I didn’t mind too much so I wasn’t upset with the end results.
More recently, another person reposted my art, once again on a site I don’t use and without credit. They were asked to add credits, and they responded by nonchalantly brushing it off, saying this wasn’t the first time someone had said that to them.
I have ever only posted art on Tumblr the past few years, and the only currently active account with art is this one. If you my stuff posted anywhere else, it’s probably not me.
If you happen to see reposted art of mine, please let me know. If you have an account at the site, I’d appreciate it if you linked them to the source and asked them to credit properly.
Please don’t immediately call the reposter names and harrass them for their actions - there are people who don’t understand why reposting is bad and just thought more people would want to see the cool thing they found. Being mean to them won’t help them learn anything and just make everyone upset.
If they refuse to credit, link to the source, or just flat out don’t respond at all, I could use some help reporting the post. My art theft experience so far has been on sites I don’t use, and I’ve often had difficulty navigating through them.
Thanks for sitting through this. I know it’s boring compared to seeing a comic about 4 McCrees having an argument over what they say during Ult, but it’s important to me.
(Especially when there’s a chance that might end up being reposted as well)
Have a peacful week, everyone.

Section LXX The Meditation teacher Hsien said, "Where the eyes see, that is the limit of reality. All phenomena are the limit of reality. What more can one look for?" This concludes section 70
Regarded by some as the earliest Zen text, the Long Scroll has questionable authenticity. Some assert that it is a record of Dazu Huike gathered during the later years of his life. Others believe it is a collection of various teachers.
It seems often referred to as "The Treatise on the Two Entrances and Four Practices", however, one must note that it had no title, and this title is misleading as it merely refers to the second portion primarily.
Scroll piece. Tumblr doesn't like how long it is 😅
