They had not even been married for a full month yet, but they were already very open with each other, even before they were engaged. This was the one thing he’d been very closed off about. He didn’t fully understand why himself. Maybe he felt he would be staining her innocence in some way. Maybe he didn’t want to hurt her, in that manner at least. Whatever the reason, the guilt of having to use a friend for his needs was constantly weighing on him. Even after coming clean and talking to her about everything, he still couldn’t ask her to help him. And now she was just telling him to do it.
