Explore First Thursdays in July
First Thursdays are becoming somewhat of a tradition for London art lovers and exploring the gallery listings for this day of the month is always fascinating. There are quite a few openings and shows open late around Central and East London tomorrow, so what we suggest is that you pick a few and try to spend the evening walking from gallery to gallery and comparing some of the different artwork.
We’ve complied a list of what we think are the best shows to see this Thursday.
Long White Cloud showcase what looks like some deliciously appealing photography by McGunnMedia in their Feast Your Eyes exhibition, which is definitely what we’ll be looking to do after a hard day’s work.
Also opening tomorrow is Curious Duke Gallery‘s exhibition The Art of Curiosity, which promises to show some diverse and fascinating art from the creations of the gallery’s own artists. Here is one portrait by Dannielle Hodson which we find particularly intriguing:
