Long Black Night • Δ/Ϝ
Delta woke in a cold sweat, his hands clutching the sides of his head as he pulled himself out of the tangle of blankets. Once his breathing started to even out, he moved up and switched on the light. He had been sleeping slightly better since he spoke with Darrow, but he had always had ups and downs with it. Always. The word had no meaning to him.
He lay back down and closed his eyes, but it was clear he wouldn't be sleeping again soon, between the adrenaline coursing through his blood and the images burned into his eyelids. He could work, but that would only distract him, not help with anything. His mind was already on Darrow, so after lying there a few more moments he got up and sent a message to the other Greek Agent.
"Are you awake?"
