[19:43] Longhan lined up the shot, one eye closed to "improve his accuracy" he claimed. He stared at the targets across from him behind the bartop. Swaying gently in the evening summer breeze was a wall of balloons. A giant bear sat next to the wall, its glass eyes sparkling in the fair's lights. Hundreds of sounds surrounded you both but they fell to background noise as Longhan threw the final dart.
You hid your face in his shoulder, too nervous to watch. You feel him reaching out and you lift your head to meet the face of a giant teddy bear. You let out a surprised noise, reaching forward to hold him but Longhan refuses to let go.
"Shouldn't I get a prize for winning this bear for you," he teases, his eyes looking at you fondly behind his glasses.
You sigh, pretending to be annoyed, and move so that the next person can try their luck. After you and him move a few steps away, you motion for him to lean down. You gently cup his face in your hands and bring him in for a soft kiss. "I saw you pay him off, Longhan," you say after you separated. His look turns sheepish and you can see the tips of his ears turn red. Pulling the bear into your arms, you say, "Thank you, my love."
Longhan pulls you to his side and says, "Anything for you. Where to next?"
