A : AFFECTION. how does your muse show affection?
I’ve answered something similar to this in a previous meme, but it’s definitely touch of some kind. Vivian is adverse to touch when he first meets people, and even then it takes some time for him to warm up and be comfortable with being touched. Part of this is due to the fact that he is very sensitive to touch ( and sound ), and other part to poor experiences in his past that lead him to have this aversion.
When he enjoys someone’s company or feels comfortable with them.. he will show it via touch. He kind of does a 180 when he’s comfortable, craving it from people he likes as opposed to avoiding it like the plague. But this is a very clear sign of his affection and trust.
E : EMBRACE. does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?
50/50— Either very awkward or very secure and protective. If someone hugs him and they’re a stranger or just kind of an acquaintance.. he will be incredibly awkward and freeze up. In turn, his hug will be equally as stiff and halfhearted.. and mostly reluctant. He is not a fan of hugs from strangers or people he barely knows ( basically everyone who he has no comfort level or trust with ).
That being said, to people he loves the company of his hugs are very warm and secure. On a complete 180, he will crave that kind of affection from people.. hugs?
(r)J : JEALOUSY. does your muse get jealous in a relationship?
Sometimes. He’ll certainly feel it at times, but he’s more than likely not going to say anything about it. At worst, he’ll just seek out faults in himself and make his own insecurities much worse. For the most part, he handles this alright ( not great, but not horrible ). Despite being self-deprecating about it, he doesn’t lash out against anyone for it.
(r)S : SWEETHEART. did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?
Verse dependent, but yes, kind of! In verses where he and Titus are together, Titus and him had known each other since they were children.. and Vivian always had a big crush on him, but nothing ever came of it until later on ( after they are out of the military in FFXIV ).
In other verses where he is not with Titus.. he doesn’t. Vivian often was just too ‘busy’ with school work and studying that he didn’t have much time to make friends ( plus the fact that he was extremely shy and withdrawn as a child ).
T : TRUE LOVE. does your muse believe in true love?
Yes and no. Yes because Vivian most certainly believes in the idea of love and unconditional love, but at the same time he is unsure if such feats are even possible or if it’s really just a fantastical fever dream that things like that even exist. Vivian, himself, most certainly loves very deeply and unconditionally, but in a strange way he doesn’t really realize or consider that to be what it is.
He hates the novel idea of true love. It always felt too magical, too unobtainable. In a book, true love always seemed to be described as the happy ending, and while true.. Love is very happy and love can feel very good; love is powerful, passionate, and can be brutal, and heavy.. and it is never without challenges. At least, in his eyes.

“I was puttin’ Mace to bed,” Jax defends himself halfheartedly, returning her smile as he settles into the water across from her. “He told me to tell you he loves you and somethin’ ‘bout how you owe me and him some snack cakes in the mornin’? Don’t know what he was talkin’ ‘bout, but if you really owe us some snack cakes....” His warm smile turns playful, giving away his lie, but he doesn’t even bother trying to hide it.
