i never learned all the lyrics to american idiot when i was Super Into Green Day as a 14-year-old, so recently i looked them up. while i was doing that i happened to catch a glimpse of one of those google previews of a web page, and it was like, “st. jimmy is the alter ego of the jesus of suburbia...” and i was like nope lmao

i don’t care what anyone says, i don’t care if the primary trio of green day themselves descend into my bathroom on an escalator made out of angel tears to tell me st. jimmy is the alter ego of the jesus of suburbia, i will die believing what i decided when i was 14, which is that theyre all characters in a story.

i also havent seen that musical that was made out of it and i dont want to, i am obdurate in my reading of this album and i cant be stopped. this is why nobody likes me and theyre all out without me having fun
