How We Met
@slimthiccniall loves to know how people met/got together and I figure it’s been a while since tumblr has heard the story of LonLeigh so here we go!
After the teen.com debacle, @hadeshadaheart and I started talking more. We were both in the Teen Wolf fandom and were very DOWN WITH PEOPLE SHITTING ON FIC.
Slowly we went about crushing on each other, sending each other little headcanons and writing fic for birthday presents. Before we knew it we were talking all day throughout the day. I sent them Christmas cookies and we just...kept crushing. In secret of course.
It was actually @veronicabunch who told Bean to get their shit together and tell me how they felt after visiting them for the weekend.
Cue spring break. I finally got tickets to go to Florida to visit @50-points-for-ravenclaw. Lovingly, I call her my future wife because we have a very special bond. And we spent a very domestic week together watching Brooklyn 99 and chilling. It was so refreshing to do something where something meant nothing.
And aaaaaall week, Bean and I were texting. Just, throwing porn at each other day and night and headcanons and stuff. And neither of us said anything. Apparently Bean thought Darby and I were dating and was content to pine away from afar.
And then one day I was just like. HEY I THINK IM FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU????? And for a minute they were like wait you’re not dating Darby? So when I said no they were like :D
And then the next day i asked if we were really a couple? Because I’d never done long distance before. And so they said, exactly two years ago, well, would you like that?
So I said yeah, I really would.
And then in June I came out to visit. And a few months after that, we moved in together. My home life was not great so it was an easy choice. And then on September 6 at 11:11, we got engaged. I proposed that Bean propose to me.
Now we’re two months away from our wedding and I’m so excited for the rest of my happily ever after.
