haha funny bird girl
My immune system is trying to kill me and I feel like shit so as a treat I have drawn my OC Sasha's little sister. Her favorite color is yellow, she likes drawing on herself and calling it the drawings tattoos, and she got kicked out of every Scouts-like organization for being a menace because her mom is a politically active community leader and her older sibling is a queer witch in deep with occult stuff which mean's she's basically this kid. She also holds the dubious honor of the only human Eugene's sister Thalia genuinely enjoys spending time around.
Sometimes when I'm feeling particularly indulgent I will trace over @adorkastock pose refs and then turn the base into my OCs. Helps me practice anatomy without it being quite as involved as starting over from scratch, nice way to end a long day of drawing <3 Might redo fully on my own with the image as just reference and color it, but for now this is good enough for me. Full reference can be found here on their website here!
WIP thursday night I guess anyway I remembered that an important part of creating is engaging with media that inspires you lol
OC ART DUMP!!! I love how Eugene's "I'm so in love" face is sweet and soft and Ophelia's looks like she's taking minor poison damage.
Anyway did these today as practice for commissions, it's not perfect but I really pushed myself outside my comfort zone(actually drawing shoes, full body, dark lines, not hiding the hands) and I'm proud of myself for that and for how good it came out! Helps that I was drawing my favorite OC but regardless good to remember that trying new things is the only way to improve at them, and we are almost always capable so much more than we think we are <3
more OC art bcs I can draw one thing and one thing only (my OCs)
