I always give myself plenty of time between school drop off and the first meeting of the day... Today I didn't😏🙄 My son always wears his shoes to school... Today he didn't😲😏 So I had to drive back home and to school again which will make me really late for my meeting😫😣 "How come you forgot your shoes? Why didn't you pay attention? I can't believe I will be late to meet my client" I start barking at my son... He looked me right in the eyes and said calmly "Mom, Are you wasting your energy looking AT the PROBLEM of FOR a SOLUTION" When your own sentences come right back at you 🤣😂😉 Kids won't allow you to be a hypocrite. By the way, after his advice, I got out of stress mode and find the perfect solution, we borrowed shoes from a friend who lives near the school and I made it to my meeting on time...
