Life is super chaotic right now (I'm still busy buying my new place and then planning my move, etc AND the dog has been sick for almost a week, I'm quite worried and also looking at my pockets and thinking that I don't have much money to spare but what can I do) but I wanted to reflect on the year that has gone and the one coming up. Both cities had really compact and pretty Old Towns, although Tallinn's was my favorite of the two because it was more peopled, caffeinated, and packed with cool bars with local flair. We'll forget about the scampering down a crunchy snowy hill to walk along a four-lane road and all the really ugly black snow and gravel, and consider it a great end to my time in these parts of the world!
Sitting at the Helsinki airport waiting for my delayed flight, I'm thinking about how this will be the last time I'm "returning" to Stockholm, and how I'll be back at Arlanda in less than five days to return to my real home. It feels bittersweet...until I think about how the very next flight after that that I'll take will be with Robertson and will probably involve a Potbelly's cookie. All sweet!
