Don’t get it twisted. I ship Merthur but respect the fact Gwen is Arthur’s wife but also respect the fact Gwen has a girlfriend (Morgana) and that Merlin has a second boyfriend (Gwaine) and Arthur, Merlin, and Gwen all share their other boyfriend (Lancelot)

its incredibly funny to me that arthur + the knights all want to protect merlin and fight to be his bodyguard when in fact, unknowingly to them, merlin is their bodyguard.
