Tom Imagine: The Proposal - Full
His voice could be heard from outside the apartment complex, sounds of objects being thrown and crashing. You took a sigh before grabbing your keys out of your bag and unlocking the door. When you opened the door you were slightly confused when you heard a voice that didn't belong to Tom. As you walked farther down the hallway, surrounding you were broken vases, flowers, letters, jackets, couch cushions. Your mouth open in shock, and soon voices flooding the air.
"MAX YOU FIND IT YET!? SHE'S GONNA BE HOME SOON!!!"
You heard Tom yell from his unknown destination in the house. As you took a step farther and peered into the living room you couldn't help but drop your bag. The couches, end tables and lamps all laid out on the floor, but the Christmas tree remained untouched. The sound of glass breaking caught your attention and you were soon making your way into the kitchen and then you spotted them.
"Mate she's gonna kill you, you know that right."
"I'm gonna do more then just kill him!!"
You yelled at them. Tom turned around and just stared at you with his eyes wide open in shock and his mouth in the form of an 'O'. You walked by Tom and Max and into the kitchen, all on the ground was broken plates and cup and some of your good china set.
"Tom what... why?! Why is everything broken?! What have you do, what caused you to do this!!!!! ANSWER ME!!!"
You yelled at him getting in his face, causing him to take a step back.
"I can't tell you!! I was just looking for something important."
"I don't want your shitty excuses, give me a proper answer!!"
You said as you took another step closer to him. But this time he didn't move. He clenched his jaw and more frustration showing on his face. You saw Max take a step back from you two obviously not wanting to get in the middle of your fight.
"I TOLD YOU, I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING IMPORTANT!!!"
"WELL YOU DESTROYED THE WHOLE HOUSE BUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE AND YOU STILL HAVENT FOUND WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR HAVE YOU. SO WAS IT WORTH IT?!!?"
And in that split second of you yelling at Tom, Max disappeared and was at Toms side again and shanking his hand.
"As much i would love to stay around... um i gotta go.... I'll catch up with you later mate.....Bye."
"Don't think i'm through with you just yet George!!"
You yelled to him as he was slipping out the front door. You turned your attention back to Tom who quickly shoved something in his pocket.
"I'm gonna ask you one more time Thomas, was destroying the house worth it!? What were you looking for and don't give me that 'I was looking for something important' I want a straight answer right now!!"
You said poking his chest till he was against the wall, his face becoming angrier and angrier by each poke.
"YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS!!!!"
He pulled out a little navy blue box, you stopped yourself from opening your mouth and yelling at him again. Your eyes kept going from Toms face to the box and back to his face.
"I was looking for it cause i was gonna ask you to marry me on Christmas. And now you had to go and ruin the whole fuckin......"
You didn't let him finish his sentence, your lips were on his your arms around his neck. His lips moving against yours right away told you that your fight was officially over. His hands taking place around your waist lifting you up so you could wrap your legs around him.
"Yes."
You spoke in his ear when you broke the kiss.
"What did you say?!"
He sounded almost confused. You told him that you accept the proposal once he put you down.
"I didn't even get to properly do it!!"
"I don't care!! Nothing we do is properly right, so why should this be. Just know that i say yes!!"
As you gave him a kiss one last time, before he picked you and whispered in your ear.
"I love you."
