A lar gibbon or white handed gibbon looks at visitors in the zoo as he sits on it's resting place. Lar gibbons are mostly found in Thailand, Malaysia and Burma. They mostly eat fruits and leaves and very peaceful animals. Their existence is being threatened due to pet trade, hunting and deforestation. They are now an endangered species.
