The Looming Tower (tv miniseries)
This tv series about 9/11 contains 2 v* scenes. One in episode 7 or 8 (I’m sorry that I can’t remember which one) when Soufan and two other men are in their hotel room, standing by a bed, looking at a photo that’s on the bed, they’re talking about that photo then suddenly the guy on the left rushes to the bathroom. It’s unexpected but you have time to look away. I don’t know how much is shown, the audio is loud but exagerated and not realistic. The second scene is in episode 10, the last episode : when Soufan is about to board his plane, he’s asked to return to the embassy, he drives there, he arrives in the hallway where everyone is watching the news on a tv, he steps into an office, a guy at a desk says “i need to show you something” and hands him a enveloppe, they get into an argument, and then Soufan leaves the room to rush to a bathroom. Again I looked away so I don’t know how much is showed. Both scenes are brief.

Based on the Pulitzer-Prize winning book, The Looming Tower traces the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA during that time may have inadvertently set the path for the tragedy of 9/11. The series follows members of the I-49 Squad in New York and Alec Station in Washington, D.C., the counter-terrorism divisions of the FBI and CIA, respectively, as they travel the world fighting for ownership of information while seemingly working toward the same goal - trying to prevent an imminent attack on U.S. soil.
Coming February 28 on Hulu!
