Hello all!

I wanted to make a post to let you know that it no longer makes sense to me to post all of the ask messages asking if a certain tv show/movie is safe. The frequency of those asks compared to how often any of them ever actually receive an answer from a follower is EXTREMELY unbalanced, and they just clog up the dash/blog with unanswered queries. As much as I would love to innately have the answer for everything, it's simply not possible. There are MANY that have built up over the months because I was trying to search tags to make sure people didn't skip that step before asking and then search other sites to hopefully provide an answer, but I cannot do that for all of the ones that have piled up and continue to come in.

For a while I was compiling all the recent asks into one big post, but that didn't seem to solve the problem.

Also, some people send asks multiple times thinking it didn't go through, but they ALL come through and it creates a messier inbox.

I rely on submissions that are clear and well-formatted. PLEASE write them like you're submitting an assignment; it makes my life easier so I don't have to edit and clean them up so they meet my standards. All of these little things help me stay as on top of this blog as I can, so that I can continue helping even a little bit.

Also, please refrain from sending messages of thanks or support. I TRULY appreciate them, but I will only end up deleting them because they take up space. Just know that I am very grateful for all of the love and assistance I have received over the past 13 or so years.

And because I know someone will offer, I will not be accepting new mods. I'm sorry, but I simply have realized I do not trust other people to execute the blog the way I want to.

brilliant minds s1e1&2 are NOT SAFE!

There was a secondhand warning up for ep 1 but I wanted to get more specific:

Ep1: when it cuts to the interns in the locker room, one of the interns walks in with v* across her scrubs, saying a patient went “exorcist” on her twice. Visual of v* but not a person doing it and no audio aside from them talking about it. I’d say look away once the locker room scene starts but once the scene changes you’re good.

Ep2: When the interns are talking to the frat kid while he’s laid up in the hospital bed, at a certain point the kid kind of clams up and one of the interns asks if he sees the dragon again. Another intern says something like “no he’s gonna v*!” And grabs a trash bin and puts it front of the frat kid. There’s audio but no visual aside from the guy’s head in the bin, so you can look away and close your ears for about 10s when the intern warns everyone.

brilliant minds s1 e3~6 are SAFE!

There is a mention of n* and v* in ep 6 as a symptom of pregnancy but nothing is shown/heard during any of these eps!

brilliant minds s1 ep7-9 safe but ep 10 is NOT safe!

in ep 10 there are two instances:

1. when the paramedic is going through her day, when she mentions the “grandpa” look away and cover your ears for ~10s. There is audio and some aftermath visual on the guy’s face but the narrative moves past it pretty quickly.

2. When med student age carol gets back from her night out she finds Oliver on the floor of the bathroom. She helps him up to over the toilet and he v*, there is audio but his body covers the visual. It’s also not very long but a little longer than the “grandpa” part earlier in the episode.

the rest of the ep is safe!

brilliant minds s1e11 is NOT SAFE!!

at the beginning of the episode, while Allison is on the table, they ask her repeatedly what she took. She doesn’t respond but instead turns and v* a little to her side, audio and visual. it’s on the screen for a few seconds. The rest of the episode is safe!

I don't even know how to start this one but if you guys watch sports, please please be very careful when watching Baseball games. This is the second time the Yankee's pitcher has v* on the mound during the game. It makes the news and they do not censor it, if you live in the local area just avoid any Baseball news. I've been triggered more than once from shots taken on the screen and posted on social media or the Google News Feed in the last few years.

Tip Toe (TV Show)

Episode 1-3 - Safe

Episode 4 - Triggering. From 26:47 to 27:00, as Clive walks down the street with bars, it cuts to a person leaning over and you hearing the audio of a cough. No actual v* audio or visual.

Rick and Morty S9E5: Jer Bud

After Jerry and the others strip naked and one of them talks about insecurities, Jerry begins v*ing worms and the other guys eat them. The worm v*ing continues until Rick says ‘he’s part of the wallpaper’, at which point Jerry v*s for a final time. For me, the visuals aren’t that triggering since it’s only worms, but YMMV.

Disclosure Day is safe! There are mutiple scenes where people look unwell after using the alien technology but nothing happens.

Mario Galaxy Movie

Not safe. After the plane fight scene in space, Fox crash lands the Arwing and opens the hatchet. Toad’s cheeks fill up and he immediately leans over the side of the plane and v*. No visual. Sounds like a water hose. A couple of seconds and then it transitions to black and Fox trying to fix the Arwing.

If it helps I’m really sensitive and it didn’t bother me. If you focus on the forefront of Fox you won’t even see it.

Obsession NOT SAFE

When the main character is eating a sandwich and then begins to look at it strangely there is a QUICK movement to him getting sick in the nearest by box.

Another small thing is at one scene when main character gets home to find second main character, second main is covered in many different things one being v_mit, they don't explicitly point it out though

Rick and Morty S9E4 A Ricker Runs Through It

When Rick, Morty, and Jerry are being spun round, Rick says ‘I’m gonna fucking b*’ and does. We only see it briefly before the scene cuts off for an ad break, but it then cuts back to Rick v*ing on his hands and knees with a large amount of v* on the floor.

NOT SAFE!

about 1h10 minutes in, after her vision starts going woozy and she collapses, she v*s a little (more like foam than v* to me). then, a few minutes later, when she’s giving him CPR, she v*s on him multiple times graphically. I can’t speak for the audio since I muted it, but the visual is pretty realistic. the scene can be skipped completely without missing much!
