Breathe
Breathe me in. Can I dwell here for a moment? Sometimes I feel my heart is frozen. Warm me up. I’d imagine that your love is kind but is it for the moment? I want it to be unconditionally mine. In time, I know. All good things take time when they grow. I’m running on “E” with my patience. Ain’t got no more time. No gas for the fake shit. My energy is something worth saving. Everyday another lesson is learned. And every moment a new leaf is turned. I got some brand new wings and I’m soaring through things that’ll keep all my haters concerns. Know blessings are earned but even when they ain’t, I understand if you can’t always come to my rescue. Even though you try, I gotta put away my pride ‘cause I don’t like asking you. I guess I got your attention, now. Did I fail to mention, I really need to stay here, with you.
