I'm planing on writing a story for Spookylock, is there any length to cut it off on? Also mine is inspired by a song in some way... slightly. that is allowed yes?

There is no word limit! As long as you get it in by November 2nd. If it's a long multichapter fic, the first chapter must be done by Nov 2nd, and you should mark it as WIP. 

Is it a spOOOoooky song? If so, then yes! If not, then perhaps you should light a candle in the graveyard and turn three times counter-clockwise while chanting, "red rose, red prose, dead nose" until your story is spoOOOooky enough for us.
