"The overall story of the portal games is essentially a breakup" yeah well I'm UNbreaking them up. Mashing them together like barbie dolls.

i keep running into a problem when im writing lesbian fanfic where ill get to the sex scene and get too horny to continue. like i forget what words are and then just close the doc for a couple months
Y'know genuinely I think more of you should try being brazenly flirty. Everyone wants to get hit on by a hot lesbian but nobody wants to be the one to take the first step. Literally just loosen your shoulders a little, walk up to the person, compliment them, and just come right out with it. It's super easy even if you get rejected just go "oh my apologies have a nice night" that's literally it. Be the hot lesbian everyone wants it gets easier with practice
When people post new chelldos wireplay fics to the ao3 tag I rub my hands together evilly. Soon we shall take over the world
Saw someone imply they were self conscious cause their obsession with trains bordered on sexual. Buddy, trains are like basically THE heavy machinery to be sexually attracted to. They've been doing that almost since their invention. There's like 250 years of people using trains as innuendo. It's their entire modus operandi bro
Never underestimate the power of jerking off face down
i fucking love chelldos as a ship. the entirety of portal 1 is a story of de-personalization for chell, turned into a lab rat and subjected to the whims of a near omnipotent power who is the only one in the relationship who gets to exercise control or personhood. Glados' defeat is chell regaining her autonomy until the actions of a larger entity (the aperture facility and its protocols) forces both her AND glados back into the same situation of power struggle, but this time they BOTH have to recognize the other's personhood. Glados has to reckon with chell's deadly competence and unwillingness to comply, and chell has to acknowledge that there might be more to glados than she assumed, and have mercy on an enemy that didn't show her the same kindness, now rendered helpless in the face of a larger threat. They're united in their goal of regaining control over aperture, but the dynamic has shifted. glados doesn't see chell as a lab rat anymore. she releases chell at the end like she's saying goodbye to an equal and not an obsessive fantasy of compliance and data points; not only is she saying goodbye to chell, but she's letting go of a version of chell that only existed in her head. that goodbye is the most loving thing she could've given to her.
its a relationship bound up in tragedy, it's an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. i fucking adore both of them.
in my own personal headcanon Chell spends a few years on the surface reacquainting herself with humanity and becoming a fuller person, but she returns to aperture (to glados) because no one on the surface CHALLENGED her like She did. she may be surrounded by humans, but she's still lonely, and hearing her voice again for the first time since that song feels like coming home.
Had a dream I was giving my friend the most boring handjob imaginable. Just absolutely clocked out unenthusiastic both of us just sitting there like "is that it." Debating telling her about it but what do I lead with...? "Hi I had a sex dream about you but it was really boring and neither of us were very into it" lmfao
