It’s been a few months since Lord Batman last saw The Flash— technically alternate universe The Flash but oh how he wished desperately he spent more time with him if his alternate self hadn’t distracted him and how his co-workers had messed it all up how he wished he hadn’t let them know about the portal.
Lord Batman had spent many months to years after his Flash’s— Wally’s death, making portals to see through other dimensions and universes to find his Wally, a world he hadn’t died but to no avail. Each day felt like a year passed. It's been three years since his Wally had died, he had desperately searched every universe and dimensions he could find to find his Wally to a point it felt like he couldn’t remember his lover’s face anymore even if he looked at the photos looking at every detail forever.
He wondered if the memories of Wally are still correct in his mind, the way he smiles, the way he laughs— is it still true? or have he drowned in grief so much he couldn’t tell if his memories were true anymore.
So seeing that world’s Flash— a world where the justice lords called themselves the ‘Justice League’. Their Flash was perfect, almost as if his Wally was alive and was just stuck in another dimension, even though Bruce had watched Wally die in his very own eyes.
The night he found out about that universe it felt almost like a dream as if he made one wrong move he’ll wake up and turns out it was fake all along, he watched hours and hours watching their world’s Flash and how it was exactly just like his Wally.
Same laugh, same smile, same personality that made Bruce fall in love harder than ever. How he wished he could see his face, to see if it’s true it’s truly him.
Seeing their counterparts' way of treating Wally made him furious, how come they could be so careless with him when Luthor is in the very same room as Wally. So Bruce spent every waking hour making sure the portal will go to that dimension, the original plan was to lure their world’s Flash into theirs so he can be back home with Batman, to him.
if only he hadn’t told the other lords about the dimension.
They were reckless, stupid. Wanting to dominate the league’s world, to make their worlds like theirs. When he originally just wanted to get Flash back to them— to him.
He volunteered to stay back home, to watch over their counterparts in case they tried to escape. Of course they’ll take his word for it, even though he was sure lord superman was suspicious of him but he didn’t care if it meant seeing Flash again.
How foolish was he to underestimate Wally, he should’ve had realized— knew that the heart monitor was faked, even if it was in a desperate moment of not wanting to lose Wally again for the second time, he wasn’t gonna let the opportunity slip by to have him back in his arms once more.
How foolish was he?
He knew after waking up bound to the very same device he chained Flash in, that he couldn’t keep him like this— not when he’s loyal to the league, not when the other lords are so reckless especially with that kryptonian in charge. No, he needed a new plan; he couldn't force Flash back to him again if it was like this.
So, he teamed up with his league counterpart, by tricking him into thinking he had tricked lord batman much to his dismay. He had given him a plan how to defeat the lords, assuring that he’ll stop their tyranny for good once the league defeated them though it was half true— of course there was no way Wally would agree to stay with him if the world is still in fear of them, so while the lords were out fighting with their league counterparts he prepared a very special dungeon to keep them in because no matter what he still won’t break his sacred rule of no killing.
Even though it was the very rule that cost Wally his life.
When his counterpart brought back the lords to him, he made sure they would be no threat no more even though they already lost their powers, he was going to make sure it’s permanent.
He caged up all of them in the dungeon he had built secretly many years ago underneath the old arkham aslyum building, it was built way before he even fell in love with Wally. It was just in case the other superheroes went rogue.
He made sure to triple check everything, to make sure the lords will never escape and the world will be perfect.
he lined up Lord Superman’s walls with kryptonite, clipping Hawkwoman’s wings permanently forbidding her to fly forever and taking away her mace, J’onn’s room surrounded by fire not enough to hurt him but enough to keep him weak, John’s room was like any other prison cell he just had to take away and destroy his ring, and for last Wonder Woman chained up the same as the league earlier.
he’d provide them food that can last a week, visiting once or twice each week. But he never interacts with them, ignoring every attempt at a conversation. He ignored Lord Superman at every cost, threatening him with a kryptonite if he threatened him ever since he saw the footage of him almost killing Flash at the fight with the League.
During the span of a couple of months after the League, he ended the justice lords for good. They still feared him of course, he is still in charge but it was enough to make the world at peace, no more villains, no more superheroes in charge of the entire world, no more annoying wanna be god krytonian.
Many people praised him, they didn’t know about the Justice League so they all thought Lord Batman had been the one to stop the Justice Lords once and for all. While some were skeptical, it was good enough.
The world is perfect, perfect enough for Wally.
He made sure to monitor Wally as well, to bring him back home at the right time. He watched his every movement thru the monitor watching him interact with the Justice League. It was like falling in love with Wally again for the first time ever, he was the exact same.
He had almost forgotten that their world’s Wally isn’t the same as his Wally.
He watched how Wally would try to flirt with his counterpart, it made him jealous— possessive even. And yet he couldn’t help but feel a little satisfied seeing his counterpart not replicate the speedster’s obvious feelings for him, he knew his counterpart liked Wally romantically but was too much of a coward to love Wally back.
So who was Lord Batman to say no to the opportunity to make Wally fall in love with him instead? He and his counterpart are practically the same, except for the costume but he can change that. He’ll change anything for Wally, he’ll change the world for him— Universe even.
He watched and watched, watching him through the screen watching him try to earn his counterpart’s love watching him be The Flash he fell in love with. Until the day came the perfect opportunity, it was almost laughable even seeing his counterpart resisting his feelings for the speedster.
He had always been awful at showing his feelings, let alone showing it, so watching his counterpart end up hurting The Flash’s feelings slowly until Wally caught Wonder Woman kissing Batman in one of their missions the speedster was heart broken.
It was perfect.
He struck during one of the missions after that, knocking Wally out who was about to dismantle a bomb and bringing him back to his home dimension. He brought the speedster back to his house, the Wayne Manor. a luxury room almost the size of a house all for Wally.
He drugged him while the speedster was out cold injecting drugs into his system, he wasn’t gonna risk losing him again. He made sure to chain his hands and legs together that was only unlockable with a key he had hidden.
He went down to the batcave at night, to see the League’s reactions to their speedster being missing. He watched them panic; after all, it hadn’t been long after their encounter with the Justice Lords, he watched Hawkgirl threaten every central city’s villains, even the rogues. He was sure she would've killed one of them if Green Lantern hadn’t held her back.
He knew his counterpart suspected he’s behind this, but it didn’t matter. His counterpart had no technology to get to his universe, he made sure of that.

Flash woke up with a groan, his head spun. Blinding lights greeted him when he opened his eyes making him squint for a moment, his senses felt overwhelmed as if something was wrong. He was about to move his hand to rub his eyes when he realized he couldn’t move them at all, his mind rang alarm bells when he tugged once again yet to no avail.
Flash tried to move his legs only to find out they were chained up too, making him panic, he tried to vibrate his arms and legs to try and phase out of them just like his Uncle Barry taught him years ago— yet it didn’t work.
“You're awake.” A familiar voice said, making Flash’s head snap to where the voice came from, he was about to sigh in relief thinking it was just Batman. Maybe the mission had gone wrong, maybe he got mind controlled by Grodd again which explained him being all chained up like this— until he got a closer look at the suit and his heart dropped.
“I prepared breakfast for you.” Lord Batman said, pointing at a tray of food that was probably worth more than Wally’s salary in a month, Flash glared at him in response.
“Why am I here? What do you want from me?” Flash barked out, he still didn’t like Batman's lord counterpart at all. He didn’t like any of the lords in particular, but Lord Batman always felt off to him.
Lord Batman ignored his question, instead he sat down on the bed near Flash. Grabbing the tray in his hand, he grabbed the spoon and scooped up a spoonful of hot soup.
“Eat, you've been out for a day.” he said sternly but there was gentleness in his tone as well, any day it would’ve made Flash feel butterflies in his stomach but now it felt awful he didn’t like this one bit.
“piss off.” Flash spat glaring at him, unfortunately his stomach growled and Flash swore he died. In the inside out of embarrassment and humiliation of all times his stomach decided to make its hunger known.
Lord Batman just raised an eyebrow, he suddenly reached out with his other hand grabbing Flash’s face forcing him to look at him. He poked the spoon full of soup to Flash’s lips, Flash tried to look away but Lord Batman forced him to look back at him.
“eat.” he said more sternly this time, Flash wanted to refuse but he was hungry and the smell of the soup was mouth watering. Flash sighed frustratedly and opened his mouth, earning a satisfied hum from Lord Batman.
Lord Batman fed Flash til the soup was gone, it went on like this from a week despite Flash’s multiple failed attempts to escape. He could only accept Lord Batman’s treatment towards him, even though the first few days he had to force-feed Flash which was embarrassing for Wally he couldn’t deny the butterflies in his stomach at the way Batman’s lord counterpart treated him.
He knew Batman would never ever treat him in this way ever in his life, Wally wanted to deny it so badly but he couldn’t stop leaning into Lord Batman’s hand every time he caressed him even if it felt creepy the first time it happened, how Lord Batman treated him with such gentleness and love— Wally had always secretly enjoyed being pampered and being treated like this by his alternate dimension crush? it was a deadly combo, he could only hope his friends save him in time for whatever Lord Batman’s plan is.

“Can I see your face?” Lord Batman suddenly blurted out earning a surprised look from Flash, they just finished eating dinner after a day Flash finally convinced him to at least unchain his legs so he could run around and stretch his legs.
“what?”
“Can I see your face, please.” he pleaded, taking his cowl off which stunned Flash before he could say anything. He knew Batman’s secret identity but it always takes his breath away seeing how handsome Bruce is up close. Lord Batman— Bruce looked at him with such sadness and yearning in his eyes it was impossible for Flash to say no.
“uh.. sure.” Flash knew his Batman would kill him for this, showing his identity to an enemy. But this is Batman’s alternate self, he probably already knew everything about his life.
Bruce’s hand carefully removed Flash’s cowl with such gentleness as if Flash would disappear from existence if he’s a tiny bit rough. He removed Flash’s cowl revealing Wally’s face, his freckled cheeks and green eyes making Bruce’s eyes widen for a moment.
“uh..” Wally mumbled sheepishly unsure what or how to react, feeling Lord Batman’s hand caress his face looking at him with those eyes— looking at him as if he’s the very love of his life.
“Can I kiss you?”
“w-what?” Wally's eyes widened at Lord Batman’s words, his face quickly turning red and his words stuttering. Of all things he had thought would happen, to whatever benefit Lord Batman had kidnapped him— he certainly didn’t expect this scenario.
“i—“ before Wally knew it, he felt Bruce’s hands on his face and kissed him passionately which took away the air from Wally’s lungs. He knew he should've pushed him away, knock him out even and try to escape. But Bruce deepened the kiss before he could think further.
The kiss soon turned from passionate to an almost needy desperate kiss, Bruce kissed Wally with all his might like a man drowning in water and gasping for air. Bruce’s hands soon started to slither on Wally’s body, mapping him out trying to remember as much as possible how Wally’s body feels against him earning moans that were like music to Bruce’s ears from the speedster.
It was perfect, everything was perfect. Wally is back in his arms like it always should’ve been, and Bruce wasn’t gonna lose Wally ever again.
Bro I gotta rewatch JLU too fuc. If you have requests open, could I maybe get lord Batman’s reaction to Wally’s body/death? Idk if that’s too much but I’m feeling the lords angst today ✊😔

what if Flash was alive all this time in the Justice Lords // AU.
AU where the events of the justice lords episode still happened but Flash never died.
Flash was the only one who stayed true to what they were before, he’s still the same but gone with the optimistic personality. after getting betrayed by the people he saw as family, especially that said family straight up lobotomized his family who raised him since he was a kid. he found it hard to trust people once again, he still have his morals intact but he’s much more reserved and similar to his father figure Captain cold.
There was never a barry allen who guided him, etc, in this universe. instead after the tragic death of Barry allen and Iris west, Wally was adopted by the rogues after they found him on the streets as a kid.
the rogues are still villains, but even after the accident, they never tried to force Wally to become a villain like them— more so were mainly against it, being more over protective of him, sure sometimes they’d let Wally tag around but they never let him be a full time rogue. they supported him when he decided to become the hero of central city, always keeping an eye on him and occasionally ‘fight’ with him to keep up image and to spend bonding time with their ‘baby flash’ due to hero duties especially being a justice ‘league’ founder takes up so much time.
when Wally was still a hero, everyone thought even his own teammates he didn’t had much capable. but the thing is, Wally is never trained/mentored by Barry allen, instead mentored and trained by the rogues themselves and no other than Captain Cold who grew like a father to Wally. they trained/mentored him since he was a kid even after he gained his powers and struggled a bit figuring out how to take care of a growing up speedster they adjusted to it.
Wally always held back on his fighting skills even though he was much, much, much more capable. he never used it heavily despite being trained by the rogues, he relied on his powers more when he was a hero.

Flash rebelled when the whole ‘Lords’ thing started especially after Lord Superman killed Lex Luthor, the others were a bit against it too but slowly but surely they started following Lord Superman’s orders. even those who Flash saw as familial like Green Lantern and Wonder woman, Wonder woman was one of the people who sided with Flash before changing her mind too.
Flash tried to convince himself that what they’re doing is good after no matter what he says to the others they won’t listen, he tried to convince himself maybe he was in the wrong. but he was smarter than that, he knew it was wrong from the very start.
when Lord Superman started to plan to ‘cure’ or straight up lobotomize villains, it was when it crossed the line for Flash. he tried hard to cling on the hope his friends were still the people he knew before this all started, but it was broken after Batman had tricked his own former friend Two-Face and had trapped him to get him ‘cured’ by Lord Superman. Flash had knew about Harvey dent, he knew about every villain who had a hand in criminal activities especially someone as big as Two-Face, he was one of the good ones Captain cold had told him. he would take justice for those the law would not care about, killing child and sex traffickers, abusers and so on. he grew a respect for the man and he also knew about Batman’s history with them.
so the fact Batman had used their trust to trick them into something so monstrous it was where his hopes in his friends was broken.
he rebelled against them even publicly which had caused issues, which caused a lot of people to start to rebel as well. in punishment for that, while Flash was distracted by a disaster, saving people as usual. the Justice Lords had tricked and trapped all of the rogues with the illusion of that Flash was in danger, they only knew about the rogues because of Lord Batman’s former relationship with the Flash.
when Flash came back, he had soon found out what happened. he had searched every rogue’s safe-houses, he had the bone chilling realization of what may had happened. he begged the gods, the speedforce, everything that it was not true til he searched arkham asylum to see no other than his family all lobotomized they might as well be dead. he begged them to snap out of it, wishing to the speedforce they were just pranking him even though he knew deep down who did this.
gone was Captain Cold’s eyes that would soften every time he sees Wally, now only a blank look. gone was Heatwave’s grin that would appear every-time he sees him. he checked every single one of his family members, begging Trickster that it was just a silly trick on him, begging Pied Piper that he was controlling the rogues even though he knew he would never ever do that, he begged Mirror Master that it was all just a illusion.
gone were all of his families once again, this time he was truly alone. Gone was Barry allen & Iris west, gone was Justice league, and gone was the Rogues.
that day, the Flash was never seen again. it was rumored perhaps there was a big argument between the speedster and the Lords, perhaps they had decided to kill him it wouldn’t be a surprise. there were other rumors maybe they had ‘cured’ him as well, or that he was secretly alive but in hiding. none of all the rumors were ever proven true.
until many years later, when the Justice league had been brought into the Lord’s universe did the former League founder that he went out of hiding.

that’s pretty much it what i have thought much about this AU! :-) been thinking of this AU since a few months back, always thought it’ll be a interesting take of what if Lords!Flash was actually alive all this time but it’ll be boring if it’s just the same Wally so decided to add in him being adopted and raised by the rogues too! so it makes his personality and morals a bit more different! :D he holds the rogue’s rules very extremely it’s what leads him after what happened to his family. he refuses to break it no matter what, but do mind that the rogues were still violent (killing, etc.) and after what happened Lords!Flash is very much more violent in a way but never kills. refusing to break the rogue’s rules and refusing to become like the Lords.
unsure of what to make of this AU besides a few angsty ideas/concepts, theres a bit of implied Batflash sprinkles in here too hence with the way Lords Batman reacts and treats League!Flash :-D. I’m thinking the whole justice league thing forces Lords!Flash to break out of his grief and try to rescue them refusing to let what the Lords did to him happen to them as well especially the League’s Flash. so maybe Lords!Flash breaks League!Flash to try and save the Justice league which also leads to toxic lords!Batflash stuff :J regardless this AU works with or without the ship i just like adding it.
