Random imagine that just popped into my head:

All the other lords besides Lord Infero turn into kittens. Lord Infero turns up to the monthly lord meeting to find the meeting room full of various cats. Lord Hypernova is curled up in the corner leering with annoyance, Lord Selene is hiding under the table, Lord Artemis and Lord Styx are cuddled together hiding in a random table drawer, Lord Sky is sat all pretty and regal on the table in his spot. Lord Pulsar is in his chair curled up asleep with Lord Night kitten tucked up to him. Lord Dawn, Lord Dusk, Lord Twilight, Lord Day, and Lord Midnight are snuggling up in a brotherly cuddle pile in the middle of the table.

Lord Hypernova likely found out not to take Lord Night's star the hard way. He tries to take his star and he immediately freaks out and starts having a panic attack.

Side note: but how would the other lords of yours react to Lord Night's star? I always imagined that the appearance of the star changes color depending on the mental state. It isn't visibly modified or anything, but it is pitch black when the star was originally white.

Lord Hypernova tries only once in his life to pull Lord Night’s star from orbiting the trauma bean. He tugged it rather lightly at first and Lord Night immediately tried to grab it and started trying to desperately keep it close. He left his star alone ever since because he can’t bear to possibly cause Night panic.

Lord Artemis and Lord Styx would probably just accept that it looks different not quite understanding why it looks so different but accepting that Lord Night just has a different looking star. Lord Sky understands his star has confirmed to him, much like the bright blue star Lord Sky has orbiting himself.

Lord Dawn, Lord Dusk, Lord Twilight, Lord Day, and Lord Midnight’s star changes frequently depending on who has it, and it tends to dull and slow quite substantially for Lord Dusk and Lord Dawn. So they know by his star that Lord Night is traumatized and they love their other ‘brother’.

Lord Selene, Lord Pulsar, and Lord Hypernova know. They know too much about the star not to realize Lord Night has been through hell if the star looks like that, as it conforms to the holder. Lord Selene’s star is similar, very dull and grey and rotates him much slower compared to the other Lords’ stars, rather than white or black, but not nearly the black star Lord Night has.

Evening regressing?

Evening finally gets to come out of the dungeon again only for Lord Day to find he regressed sometime during his stay in the dark and is huddling in the corner crying because he’s afraid of the dark.

Lord Day cannot coax Evening out, little Evening only gets more scared when he tries and the cries from Lord Day trying to get him out eventually draw down Lord Dawn and Lord Twilight.

Lord Dawn is able to carefully coax little Evening out of the corner while Lord Twilight asks Lord Day what happened to their servant, to which he answers truthfully since the Lords don’t hide anything from each other.

Lord Dawn settles Evening into his bed and is going to leave him to rest, thinking he was simply scared of Lord Day during a panic attack due to the dark.

Lord Dawn gets a very teary and clingy Evening whimpering and grabbing to him for comfort and breaking down all the more because he hasn’t been held in a long time.

Lord Dawn resigns himself to laying with him to figure out what’s happening, because obviously Evening isn’t in the right mindset, though he can’t fully pinpoint what’s happening at first.

Evening is just happy to cling onto someone and be held, shaking and still crying at the prospect of being left alone while he’s so small again.

Eventually Lord Dawn figures out Evening is regressing and picks him up from the bed after they rest and relax to carry him to the other four Lords to explain that their brother is regressed.

Lord Day is incredibly apologetic once he figured this out and uses their star to make Evening a plushie ferret Evening names Noodle as a gift to try to apologize further.

Evening gets absolutely swamped with snuggles and plushies from his brothers as they attempt to care for him, though he’d be happy with just snuggled and Noodle and maybe the paci Lord Twilight makes him to help him not suck his thumb.

His five Lords sometimes make him ‘accidentally’ regress by giving him new toys or stuffies or a new paci and they get to cuddle their little Evening because they enjoy taking care of him and making sure he’s happy, since little Evening will much more freely tell them if he’s sad or unhappy.
