ANIMA: What’s a nightmare of yours?
As a general fear, Ifrit is deathly afraid of drowning or being suffocated, as it is synonymous with being snuffed out. As such, he has a certain aversion for water.
But his biggest fear and nightmare is one he refuses to admit to anyone, denying it even of himself. It is the fear that one day, despite the utmost confidence in his power and control over his abilities, that he will lose control and harm or even destroy everything he holds dear. He always feels the pure chaos and unrestrained destructive power of the flames that dwell within, and fears one day that he loses his grip and gives into the fire’s primal call, unleashing it without thought. His own thoughtlessness has hurt others before, and he cannot stand the thought of letting it happen again.
