You know, I wasn't even a S/B shipper, but this is troubling me. Come on Fellowes. IT'S CHEAP. It's not like Branson can't have a storyline without a romantic interest. HE IS A SINGLE FATHER. HE'S CLIMBING THE SOCIAL LADDER. HE'S AN IRISH REPUBLICAN IN THE 20'S. He has a lot on his plate. I find it very tacky. 

And it shows me Fellowes is not to be trusted. Sure, he  never actually gave a damn about S/B, but it's like he's spitting in their faces. Which makes me think that if something happened to M/M (who he loves, on the other hand) then who knows what we could face? 

In a totally hypothetical scenario, the idea of Matthew with another woman would just make me want to smash my laptop on Fellowes head. Of course, Mary is not going to die, but in general....this was a shit move, and it makes me even more anxious about this episode.

I won't boycott it. I'll watch it, get it over with, and then decide accordingly...but I'm probably not going to watch a s4. I want to leave this show before it disappoints me bitterly and makes me hate it even retroactively. I don't want to have to throw away my DVDs as it happened with House. (on the other hand, I'd miss staring at Michelle Dockery's face. Hm.)

I know :( he’s sent a tweet before basically saying to not believe what you see in the newspapers so, I’m holding out hope.

Oh thank goodness, at least there is a small bit of hope! I do really want him to return, we've had barely any Mary/Matthew scenes yet!

Oooohh!! I was reading stuff about it ad just assumed it was confirmed  He's so frustrating! To me it sounds as if he doesn't want to come back, which will be a shame :(
